Each rc body is neatly trimmed before painting to avoid any scratches in the paint during cutting. After cutting, edges are polished with a sanding drum to assure smooth clean edges. I thoroughly prep each lexan shell for ideal paint adhesion. A six step process that involves: washing, drying, masking, scuffing, degreasing.
All my custom airbrushed rc bodies are painted on the inside with Spaz-Stix and Faskolor premium lexan compatible airbrush paints. After paint cures, lexan bodies are sealed with three coats of clear fuel-proof lacquer. I have thoroughly tested my paint jobs on brutal off-road conditions to assure they will handle the abuse of racers and bashers alike.
